Our fifth annual Rockin' Rotary
Ribfest will be held June 8, 9, and 10, 2012. What an amazing
weekend this is going to be! Truly a great way to kick off the
summer.
Our location will once again be on the playing field at
the Garnet B. Rickard Recreation Complex in Bowmanville.
The dates and times are as follows:

This is a family event -
there is something for everyone - delicious food, great music (check our
Entertainment page), midway rides, lots of
children's activities (have a peek at our Fun
page), numerous vendors with a large selection of items for sale (see our
Treasures For Sale page), plenty of useful
information and services (see our Live and Learn
page), a licensed area, and best of all - succulent mouth-watering ribs!
In case you haven't heard, Bad to the Bone, a George
Thorogood tribute band, is headlining Friday night and Bayou Boys, a
Creedence Clearwater Revival tribute band, will be on stage Saturday
evening.
As an added bonus, parking is
FREE and admission is by voluntary donation with all admission
proceeds going to support children with special needs in our
community!!!

Nova's Ark is coming once again to Ribfest! So
bring the kids to see some exotic animals and learn about a very unique place
"Where Special Is Welcome".
Ribfest just keeps on getting better! This is the
one summer event you cannot miss! So, bring mom, dad, the kids, grandma,
grandpa, aunts, uncles, cousins, the neighbours, and anyone else you know who
enjoys a great time! Oh, and don't forget your
lawnchair to ensure you have somewhere to park
yourself!
However, please remember to leave Fido and Fluffy at
home - pets are NOT
allowed.
